Progress in Cancer Registration Worldwide:
Reducing Inequities and Demonstrating Benefit
19 to 21 October 2016
Kenzi Farah Hotel
Avenue du Président Kennedy
40000 Marrakech, Morocco
The 38th Annual Conference of the International Association of Cancer Registries is hosted in conjunction with the Lalla Salma Foundation and the Casablanca Cancer Registry.
The IACR Annual Scientific Meeting has been held regularly since 1970, and annually since 1982. The choice of location is based on geography, moving around the world so that all members have the opportunity to attend at intervals that are not too far apart. The conference is an ideal forum for exchanging knowledge with other cancer registry professionals from around the world.
Abstracts on all cancer registration topics, especially those that address Cancer Surveillance for Cancer Control, Cancer in Africa, Strengthening Health Data, Infectious Related Cancers and Childhood Cancer have been received and reviewed.
Meeting delegates also have the opportunity to participate in the (full-day) pre-conference workshops: Cancer Survival Methods for Population-based Registries in Low and Medium-Income Countries ; and Data Quality and Registry Operations on 18 October 2016.
Update: the workshops are fully-booked, but should you wish to be in the waitlist for either of the workshops, kindly email firstname.lastname@example.org
Online registrations are now closed (we invite you to registrater onsite at Hotel Kenzi Farah).
We thank you for your ongoing interest, and we look forward to welcoming you in Marrakech in October.
